| I was born in the town of Pallet where I was raised by my single mother. Two weeks after I turned ten, I was to go on a great journey 2BA Master. Well on that very day, I just so happened to wake up late and I was supposed to meet my enemy's (Gary) uncle (Professor Oak). I was supposed to choose from three different little creatures known as Pokemon. There was supposed to be a Bulbasaur, Charmander and a Squirtel; I came too late and all that was left was a naughty little yellow rat known as Pikachu. Pikachu wouldn't go in his Pokeball so I had to carry him along with me. We went through many trials that day trying to catch other Pokemon, but we had no luck. Finally we found a Spearow, but that was the worst along the best thing that ever happened to me. I threw a rock at it but little did I know they don't like that. The Spearow happened to have lots of friends and they attacked me all throughout the day. I eventually thought I had successfully avoided their swarms, but I was wrong. I borrowed a bike from a girl named Misty to aid my escape but I was no match for them; they corned me and ganged up on me and my Pikachu. Pikachu got knocked down so it was up to me to protect my new found non-compliant friend. So I mustered up the strength to stand up to these Spearow and I gave this speech: "Spearows, do you know who I am? I am Ash from the town of Pallet, and I am destined to become the worlds number one Pokemon master; I can't be defeated by the likes of you. I'm going to capture and defeat you all. You hear me? Come and get me!" And before I knew it, all of them came down on me at once (that's what she said) but like a flash of lighting, Pikachu jumped onto my right shoulder and into the heart of these beasts and used his Thunder attack. He stopped them and saved the day, however destroying Misty's bike and giving me some third degree burns that I still have to this day. Misty and I became friends and she hounded me about her bike for many years claiming the only reason she tagged along with me was because I owed her a new bike. I eventually paid her off after I met Todd Snap. He was a photographer who took only pictures of rare and wild Pokemon. After seeing his work I became inspired to take pictures and I have ever since. It was Todd's picture of Mew from Rainbow Cloud that stays with me the most and I hope one day to take a photo that can have the same effect on someone else as that photo did on me. |
